About the Department of Education

“Learning – The Treasure Within” is the moto of this department. Each and every teacher is the treasure of the department. The department started with general course in 2010 and Honours course was introduced in 2014. Since then the department has been working with complete dedication towards the students. Throughout the journey, the department has not only achieved academic performance, but also extra-curricular success in every field. We have very active and enthusiastic students. They always engage themselves in various fields other than syllabic world. With the help of the students, the department is actively organizing seminars, workshops, cultural programmes, wall magazine, community development programme, college excursions and so on in almost every year. We sincerely hope that the department will continue to provide its best in future through active participation of both teachers and students.
