SHISHURAM DAS COLLEGE is a Government-aided General Degree College and affiliated to the University of Calcutta. The college is located at Bhushna (near Sarisha), Kamarpole, Diamond Harbour Sub-division under South 24 Parganas District, West Bengal which is appproximately 7 kms away from Diamond Harbour Railway Station and 40 kms away from the Dharmatala Bus stand / Esplanade.

Shishuram Das College was established in 2010 and within few years of its
journey the college has achieved academic excellence. Here, in our College,
besides teaching, learning and evaluation, we have been able to establish a
closer and cordial teacher-student relationship to fulfil the needs of students,
keeping in view their backwardness and rural background. In our college, we have
a dedicated group of qualified teachers and efficient and hardworking office
staff to shoulder the whole burden of teaching and management of the
institution. A balance between the development of mind and body is mandatory for
obtaining education which can facilitate the process of reaching perfection.
Therefore, indoor and outdoor games get priority in the college. This college
has also taken up the responsibility to serve the inhabitants of the surrounding
area through the Government of India sponsored National Service Scheme (NSS).
College has also introduced different curriculum activities and short term
professional training.
The college is still in its infancy. There are many more things to be done.
The college is inviting all sorts of cooperation from education loving persons.
The President & members of the Governing Body are very much helpful in giving
their valuable suggestions and words of encouragement. I summon all the people
concerned to join hands together to take our college at high level of fame. Best
